J'ai eut une commande de bannières Byzantines. Comme je suis en train de construire une armée byzantine en parallèle, cela me paraissait une bonne idée pour ma propre armée.  J'ai trouvé une source enluminée d'époque représentant des unités byzantines. il date du XIeme siècle, il a été écrit en Sicile. Il raconte l'histoire de l'empire et il est richement illustrer des principales bataille. On y retrouve donc beaucoup de bannières et de pennons de cavalerie. Je n'ai fait que quelques unes des bannières identifiées dans le manuscrit, dont certains ont été pris directement des dessins de Wikipedia. 

I got an order of Byzantine banners. As I am building a Byzantine army in parallel, it seemed a good idea for my own army.  I found a period illuminated source representing Byzantine units. It dates from the 11th century, it was written in Sicily. It tells the history of the empire and it is richly illustrated with the main battles. There are many banners and cavalry pennons. I made only some of the banners identified in the manuscript, some of which were taken directly from the drawings in Wikipedia.
