J'ai poursuivi mes explorations des Fahnenbuch, en particulier celui de Fribourg. Il contient un grand nombre de bannières des guerres d'Italie, où les Suisses se sont illustrés. Par chance la notice explicative est très bien faite et permet de sourcer clairemernt la provenance des bannières et leurs 'anciens' propriétaires. 

Pour cette planche, il s'agit de bannières des armées de Milan, la notice donne deux périodes principales : la période médiévale entre 1447-1450 avec les deux première bannières très ouvragées et vraissemblament issues du pillage de l'arsenal de la ville. 

Les secondes sont celles du duc de milan, Massimiliano Sforza, sauf celle en haut à droite qui est associée à Jean Galeas Sforza. A priori, ces  bnnières sont antérieures à l'accession au duché de Massimiliano. 

I continued my explorations of the Fahnenbuch, in particular that of Fribourg. It contains a large number of banners from the Italian wars, where the Swiss were famous. Fortunately the explanatory note is very well done and allows to source clearly the origin of the banners and their 'former' owners. 

For this plate, it is about banners of the armies of Milan, the notice gives two main periods: the medieval period between 1447-1450 with the first two banners very worked and really stemming from the pillage of the arsenal of the city. 

The second ones are those of the duke of Milan, Massimiliano Sforza, except the one on the top right which is associated with John Galeas Sforza. A priori, these banners are prior to the accession to the duchy of Massimiliano.
