XVth Century Banners -' Saint Thomas'  Company

Dans les fahnenbuch, il y a une représentation de bannières d'une compagnie qui n'est pas ressencée dans les description de Commynes.  On connait 2 bannières de cette compagnie, une bannière principales (Conservée au Musée de Glaris) et une bannière d'archers probablement montés. Pour illustrer l'ensemble des bannières d'une compagnie telle que décrites dans les ordonnances correspondantes.  Ces bannières étaient certainement accompagnées d'une série de banderoles rectangulaires pour les unités à pieds comme les autres exemples existants.  

Cette compagnie est la compagnie de Saint Thomas, avec une couleur Rouge, elles correspondent tout à fait au design des bannières de type II qui sont conservée, avec le saint placé dans un cartouche. Elles sont couplées normalement à des bannières ducales qui sont accolées.

Comme indiqué, ces bannières sont tout à fait représentatives des bannières prises par les suisses dans les différentes batailles.  Comme indiqué, sont elles ultérieures ou antérieures aux ordonnaces de 1473 ? Pour l'instant, je n'ai pas la réponse. 

In the fahnenbuch, there is a representation of the banners of a company which is not mentioned in the description of Commynes.  Two banners of this company are known, a main banner (Conservated at Glraris Museum) and a banner of probably mounted archers. To illustrate the set of banners of a company as described in the corresponding ordinances. These banners were certainly accompanied by a series of rectangular banners for the foot units like the other existing examples. 

This company is the company of Saint Thomas, with a Red color, they correspond completely to the design of the banners of type II which are preserved, with the saint placed in a cartouche. They are normally coupled with ducal banners that are attached.

As indicated, these banners are quite representative of the banners taken by the Swiss in the various battles.  As indicated, are they later or earlier than the ordinances of 1473? For the moment, I do not have the answer.
